It was early morning when two warriors were entering the hut where Helma Christina stood still tied up and gagged on the post.
"It's time to get your punishment, clergy woman. The jungle woman and the three warriors have not come back yet. Time is running off. We will bring you to the place where you will meet your fate."
"UMMMPG. MMMMMGH"
Christina's ropes were cut and she was grabbed by the strong arms of the warriors. She was too weak to offer any resistance.
The two warriors haled her out off the village the short way to the river bank.
"Move, white woman, the crocs are waiting for you. Your flesh will ending under their teeth."
"UMMMMMMPH. MMMMMMGH."

Soon they had reached the river bank. The missionary wife was horrified when she spotted two crocodiles which where dozing in the early morning sun not far away.
"UMMMMPG. MMMMMMMMHG"
"Kneel down, clergy woman. We've to tie you up.

The two warriors had brought along some long pieces of rope. Each of Christina's wrists and ankles was tightly knotted with one piece of rope which were each knotted to some distant trees, so that the Christian missionary was tied up in a kneeling position with her arms being in a spread eagle position.

"UMMMMPGHM. MMMMMMMMH"
"Your moaning and whimpering won't help you, clergy woman. Pray to your Lord that Nikila will be back in time. Otherwise the crocs will devour your flesh.

Some desperate hours passed. The warriors were still close by to prevent that the missionary would be devoured by the crocodiles before the time had run out.

And then, there was a sound of a motor boat. Completly apalled Henry George Goodfellow spotted his wife, kneeling on the river bank, tight up and gagged.
"Oh Jesus, Christina. I must save her, oh my God."
He wanted to jump into the river to get close to his wife.
"Wait. George. You'll soon free her. Just a sec to get the boat ashore.

Helma Christina thought she was already in heaven when she saw her husband sain and unharmed approaching to her. Quickly he removed her gag and freed her from her bonds.
"Oh Darling. For heavens sake. You're unharmed. Are you allright?
"Oh yes. Thanks God. We're save. Jesus! What an adventure!
And God knows what is still to come.

Closely nestled one to the other the missionary couple said good-bye to Patty.

"Thank you so much, Patty. Without you we've never made it.
